First Temple Win Over PSU in 74 Years

Pennsylvania State University & Temple University have been long-time rivals, and that rivalry came to a head at the season opener held at Lincoln Financial Field. The Temple Owls beat the Nittany Lions 27-10 for the first time in 74 years.

Owl fans and Penn State fans donned their school colors, accordingly, and showed up to make it the largest crowd at a football game in Temple history.

The Owls will meet up with American-Atheltic Conference foe Cincinnati for their first away game of the season at 8pm on Saturday, September 12.
