Halloween Festivities Wrap Up on East Passyunk Avenue

As this year’s Halloween season wraps up, East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District hosted its annual Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday 2018. The Fall festivities took place at the town’s Singing Fountain at East Passyunk Avenue and Tasker Street.

The family-friendly event featured a children’s costume contest with competitions for every age group. The event also featured a separate costume contest for dogs.

Community members enjoyed free pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, trick-or-treating, and more along the avenue.

“Bringing the community together for events like this is part of what East Passyunk is all about. It’s about not only showing off the awesome business corridor that we have here, but also getting people from the neighborhood, people who have traveled from other parts of the city to come down and just really enjoy the avenue for the day,” says Adam Leiter, Executive Director of East Passyunk Business Improvement District.

This annual event is growing in popularity and attracting families from all over Philadelphia.

East Passyunk Avenue is home to over 150 independently owned businesses. Head over to their website for more information and to browse upcoming events.
