Athletes Help Athletes During Temple Fun Day

On Sunday, April 23, Temple University hosted its inaugural Fun Day with the help of an organization called Athletes Helping Athletes.

Athletes Helping Athletes’ main goal is to better the lives of special needs athletes, by providing opportunities for athletes and coaches of all abilities to come together while sharing athletic experiences and a love of sports.

During the event, individuals of all ages were paired with Temple athletes from the football, soccer, and basketball teams. Different stations were provided around the field, giving participants the chance to experience the games with their favorite college players. With the success of Fun Day, the organization hopes to hold more events like this in the coming semesters.
