The largest coming out day event in the nation comes back to be held in Philadelphia Sunday, 7 October 2018.
The largest of these celebrations is hosted here in Philadelphia, celebrating LGBT+ history and community.
The event was around Midtown Village region, stretching from 12th to Locust Street.
At the event people could participate in, consists of drag shows, games, bar crawls, music and shopping.
There was several sponsors out promoting queer pride including Citizens Bank, Red Bull and many other local companies.
The streets were congested as people from around the Philadelphia region and came to celebrate this national holiday.
Temple’s Health’s LGBTQ Alliance Task Force, along with other Temple organizations, came to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues.
These issues include health screenings, promote health equity, and educate the public about Temple’s health services.
