Geno’s Steaks welcomes “Whizzy”

For the third consecutive year, a Philadelphia icon is adding another new mascot to its family. Geno’s Steaks revealed on Monday a brand new, wide-eyed, 6-foot tall cheesesteak mascot appropriately named “Whizzy”. The process started a year ago when current owner Geno Vento wanted to do something vastly different that no other cheesesteak place in Philadelphia has done before.

An Inside Look at the Charles Library

Hundreds of students and Temple University faculty got the opportunity to take personal tours and explore the state-of-the-art facility. The Charles Library sits at the intersection of Pollet Walk and 13th Street, in the footprint of the now demolished Barton Hall.

Agreement Reached in FOX School Class Action Lawsuit

Police Release Surveillance Video of Vandalism on Campus

Philadelphia Police have joined Temple Police in tracking down the three men responsible for a rash of car break-ins last Friday morning. Surveillance video obtained by Temple Update shows three men walking next to cars on campus and flashing a light inside before breaking the window with a blunt object. According to police, over 40 cars were damaged early Friday morning.
