Liacouras Center Admits first patient

Temple University’s Liacouras Center, which normally admits cheering fans of the cherry and white, began receiving its first patients today. The Liacouras Center was designated late last month as a “surge facility” to help alleviate local hospitals if and when those hospitals reached their bed capacities. The Liacouras Center is capable of holding up to 250 patients at a time.

Temple Researchers Tackle HIV and Opioids
