Quinton Rose Undecided on NBA Draft

Earlier this week, Philadelphia Inquirer’s Marc Narducci, reported that Temple University’s Quinton Rose is still on the fence about staying in the NBA Draft.

This news is coming at the heels of Rose surprisingly not receiving an NBA Combine invitation.

Rose told Narducci that being left off the invitation list was, “pretty tough. Right now, I am making the best of the situation and staying positive.”

Despite not receiving an invitation, the 6-7′ guard has still received interest from NBA teams. Narducci reported that Rose has had workouts with the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks, so far. He also has upcoming workout with the Brooklyn Nets, Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets.

This season, Rose improved his scoring (14.9), rebounding (4.3), assisting (2.3) and 3-point shooting (34.5%). As a result of his success, he earned American Athletic Conference Honorable Mention following the season.

Since Rose did not sign with an agent when declaring for the draft, he is eligible for returning to Temple University and improve his stock as a Junior. He has until May 30th to withdraw from the draft.
