# Sneak Peak at Habitat, Student-Run Food Delivery App

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub\_kcz2joXs&feature=youtu.be Ordering meals just became a whole lot easier thanks to the [Habitat](https://tryhabitat.com) app, which allows Temple students to order food on campus with the push of a button. Habitat, founded by Temple University’s own, Andrew Nakkache allows students to order meals for delivery or pickup from 16 different vendors on campus. Some of the more popular vendors include [Master’s Bar and Grill](https://www.mastersphilly.com), [The Creperie](https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-creperie-philadelphia), and [Subway](https://www.subway.com/subwayroot/default.aspx). “I use it frequently because I have a super busy schedule. So the 20 to 30 minute timeframe that they deliver in is very convenient," said Temple student Sarah Kiernan. Habitat won the first place prize of $7,500 at the [College Pitch Philly Entrepreneurial](https://campusphilly.org/collegepitchphilly/) event on February 24th. The event took place at the University City Science Center’s Quorum Space.
