Temple Volleyball Earns Tenth Sweep Of The Season against East Carolina

The Temple Owls defeated the East Carolina Pirates Sunday at McGonigle Hall to earn their tenth sweep of the season. It was absolute dominance for Temple as the Owls produced a .415 attack, had every hitter hit over .286, held the best blocking team in the conference to just one block. Temple out dug the Pirates 39-31, and produced their 2nd best hitting performance of the season.

Temple Edges Memphis in Five Set Nailbiter

It was another tightly contested match for the Owls Friday night at McGonigle as Temple went on to defeat the Memphis Tigers in 5 sets. The Owls were led by juniors Irem Asci and Izzy Rapacz; both scored a combined 35 kills, and also notched a combined 33 digs. Asci also managed to notch a pair of aces as well. Temple got off to a slow start in the first set, dropping the set 17-25.
