Temple Presidential Search Committee Gains Two New Members

The Temple University Board of Trustees has added two new members to the Presidential Search Committee, Chairman Mitchell Morgan announced over the weekend. The new members are Faculty Senate Vice President Kimmika Williams-Witherspoon and Senior Advisor to the President for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Valerie Harrison. Temple Proposes Tuition Freeze for 2020-2021

Temple University announced Monday plans to freeze undergraduate and graduate tuition for the 2020–2021 academic year. The freeze—for both in-state and out-of-state students—will need the approval of the University’s Board of Trustees. Temple University to Donate Backpacks to Local Schools

Temple University is giving back to the community by donating over 300 backpacks to a local elementary school in the area. Students at the North Philadelphia Paul L. Dunbar school will be gifted backpacks filled with school supplies along with handwritten notes by Temple students courtesy of Temple’s board of trustees. Temple will also donate 50 calculators to the school over the next months.
