Temple University to Donate Backpacks to Local Schools

Temple University is giving back to the community by donating over 300 backpacks to a local elementary school in the area. Students at the North Philadelphia Paul L. Dunbar school will be gifted backpacks filled with school supplies along with handwritten notes by Temple students courtesy of Temple’s board of trustees. Temple will also donate 50 calculators to the school over the next months.

Dragon Boat Race For Charity

October is here, and so is the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Race. Every year, the Schuylkill River is the race track for dozens of dragon boats as a part of a fundraiser for many of the city’s charity’s and organizations. With a scenic backdrop, hundreds gathered in tents to cheer on friends and family as they paddle down the river. October 6th marked the 17th year of the festival.

Temple’s PRSSA Holds Candy Drive for “Safe Halloween” Children’s Party
