Rally Against Chinatown Arena

Hundreds rallied in University City to protest the proposal to build a basketball stadium in Philadelphia’s Chinatown section. The event, co-hosted by SPOC (Students for the Preservation of Chinatown), started in front of David Adelman’s (76ers co-owner) offices at 4043 Walnut Street, then began to March down Walnut Street to the Inn at Penn, where UPenn’s Board of Trustees were meeting.
