Temple Volleyball Earns Tenth Sweep Of The Season against East Carolina

The Temple Owls defeated the East Carolina Pirates Sunday at McGonigle Hall to earn their tenth sweep of the season. It was absolute dominance for Temple as the Owls produced a .415 attack, had every hitter hit over .286, held the best blocking team in the conference to just one block. Temple out dug the Pirates 39-31, and produced their 2nd best hitting performance of the season.

Owls Lose in Final Seconds to ECU, 64-61

EAST CAROLINA- After a sloppy game, both Temple and East Carolina needed a little bit of luck to come out victorious. Unfortunately for the Owls, it went the way of the Pirates. Tied at 61 all with 10 seconds to play, Prince Williams threw up and missed a wild shot in the lane. The ball caromed out near the three-point line, but was deflected right into the hands of Kentrell Barkley.
