HootaThon Members Host On-Campus Thrift Store

To show support all day on Monday, Temple University is spreading awareness throughout the campus about the upcoming HootaThon. Temple University’s Hootathon Raises Over $400,000

Every year, for the past 4 years, Temple students have gathered together to dance for 12 hours in an effort to raise funds and awareness for patients of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, known as HootaThon. This past weekend, students and families of CHOP patients turned out in droves at the Liacouras Center. The event offered dancing, games, and other activities for students to enjoy.

HootaThon: Bringing Temple Together

But any other day, HootaThoner’s are raising money and awareness of their organization, putting all of their passion and spare time into bettering the lives of kids at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. HootaThon Raises Over $280,000 to Change the Future of CHOP

Mitten Hall midnight November 7 – Temple students started dancing for the 12-hour dance marathon HootaThon. Now in it’s 3rd year, the organization raised $280,620.76, the highest raising 3rd year dance marathon ever. The Phi Theta chapter Alpha Epsilon Phi funded the most of all the Greek organizations on campus. Other students involved created web pages with information on the event…
