Heartbreaker: Temple Women Fall in Opening Round of NCAA Tournament

Despite Junior Aaliyah Butts’ season high 28 points, the Temple Owls were stunned by the Oregon Ducks in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. It was a wild back and forth battle throughout, as the game would see nine ties and three lead changes. Temple would trail 69-68 with just under a minute to go after Oregon’s Sabrina Ioenescu hit a go ahead basket with 24 seconds left in the game.

How to Get March Madness Tickets

Following Selection Sunday, Temple has secured a spot in the first round of March Madness. With the first game set for Friday, getting tickets to this game will differ from the usual ones at the Liacouras Center. Students can purchase a single ticket to the game.
