In general, youth voter engagement has gotten better in recent years. Sophomore Rachel Williams is a part of the younger population that are voting. Philadelphia has a new mayor. Former City Councilman Jim Kenney won in a landslide victory against Republican candidate Melissa Murray Bailey on Nov. 3.
