Rose a Stand Out at USA Men’s U19 World Cup Team Training Camp

Quinton Rose was a stand out early this past season. In a four game stretch from November 20th to the 25th Rose a averaged 16.5 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 2.8 assists per game. This was topped off by a huge 26 point explosion against a ranked Florida State team. From there on out, Rose was fairly inconsistent. He was only able to eclipse 15 points in 2 of the following 25 games.

Owls Beat Up the Bulls, 72-60

The Temple Owls will finish the 2016-2017 regular season with a winning record at 16-15 (7-11 AAC) after their 72-60 victory over University of South Florida on Sunday afternoon. Four Owls finished in double figures as the Cherry and White were swishing three balls all afternoon. Temple made 11 threes, with great performances from Obi Enechionyia and Daniel Dingle.

Owls Can’t Overcome Second Half Deficit, Fall to SMU

A year after upsetting an unbeaten SMU team, Temple entered Moody Coliseum looking for its first win in AAC play this season. The Mustangs came out hot, and carried a double digit lead throughout the game, defeating the Owls 79-65 for their 9th consecutive victory. The Owls could not overcome an 18 point second half deficit, and fall to 0-3 in AAC play to start the season.
