Back in 2011, a Republican majority drew the former map, which was considered one of the most gerrymandered in the entire country. Last month, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled the map “clearly, plainly, and palpably” violated the state constitution.

Windsor, died Tuesday in New York City. Windsor was born June 20, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The youngest of three children, she grew up in a household deeply affected by the Great Depression. In 1950, Windsor graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University.
