The administration has been trying to fill the holes left by the strike but are having trouble filling all of them. Although most of them don’t have a say, undergraduate students are being affected by this just as much as Administration and TUGSA.

View More » ]]>SEPTA workers reached an agreement with the SEPTA transit agency on Friday morning, creating a 2-year deal that will avoid a strike, as well as a subway shutdown. For the past several days, SEPTA workers have threatened to strike. They cited issues regarding COVID-19, higher wages, and more as their cause. By walking off the job, more than a few subways lines would have been closed down.

Last week SEPTA pulled over 100 cars from the line when mechanics found cracks on the support beams of two subway cars which prompted the inspections of many others for the same problem.
