Temple Parts Ways With Head Coach Rod Carey

After a 3-9 season that saw the Owls lose seven straight games by a margin of 20 or more points, Coach Carey has been fired. Carey finished with a 12-20 record in three seasons at Temple, including a 3-9 record in 2021. He lead the Owls in his first season to the Military Bowl in Annapolis with an impressive 8-4 record but came up short against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
