Temple men’s basketball fell short against George Washington Sunday afternoon with a score of 71-67. This loss brings the Owls to 4-2 on the season, and brings George Washington to 4-4 on the season. George Washington came out hot in the beginning and never looked back. George Washington shot 68 percent from the field in the first half while shooting 60 percent for three pointers.

Trey Lowe Injured in Car Accident, Likely Out for Season

Temple Basketball was dealt an unlucky blow Sunday morning. According to Temple Athletics, freshman point guard Trey Lowe was injured in a one car accident early Sunday morning. His injuries are likely to keep him off the court for the remainder of the season. Lowe sustained upper body injuries and is currently being treated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
