This past Tuesday marked the Global Day of Giving, and Temple celebrated it in a special way. Yesterday the university hosted Giving TUesday, a day of global philanthropy that hit a little closer to home. Students, faculty, alumni and more gifted funds and donations to Temple to invest in the school’s future. During this time the community raised more than $47,000 for student athletes.

Field Hockey Game Against Old Dominion Postponed

Temple was scheduled to open their Big East schedule Friday in Norfolk, VA against #15 ranked Old Dominion, but the game has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game originally was moved from 3 p.m. up to noon, but it was then decided that the weather would just be too bad for the teams to get the game in. A rescheduled date has not been announced. The Owls (3-7) will now return home…
