Temple Announces Full 2021 Football Schedule

On Thursday, the AAC announced its full slate of games for the 2021 football season, which completes the twelve-game regular season schedule for the Owls. Their schedule, as always, begins with its non-conference slate. First, up for the Owls are the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. The Owls were supposed to face the Big 10 team from North Jersey last season, but due to COVID-19, it was canceled.

Temple Gymnastics to compete in the EAGL in 2021

The Temple gymnastics team look to continue their success when they move to the East Atlantic Gymnastic League(EAGL) to compete starting in the 2021 season. The Owls previously competed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for 14 seasons winning 13 event titles at the conference championships and won back to back titles in 2019 and 2020 under head coach Josh Nilson.

AAC Championship Game to be Played December 19th

The American Athletic Conference announced that their football championship game will be played on Saturday, December 19th. The game will be played at the home stadium of the team with the highest winning percentage in the conference. Coach Carey and Owls Look to Fix Mistakes vs Tulane

On Saturday, (10/24) the Owls fell 41-29 to conference opponent Memphis. The loss puts Temple at 1-2 (1-2) for the 2020 season thus far, which puts Temple in a tie for 8th in the AAC. The Owls at one point lead 9-7 & 15-10 in the first half, but those leads evaporated quickly. The Tigers 5th ranked offense (ypg in FBS) dominated the Owls defense in the third quarter, with 17 unanswered points.
