Tyler Students Continue to Create, Sell

Tyler School of Art students are adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic by partaking in virtual studio classes and selling their artwork from home. Due to Temple University’s COVID-19 restrictions, Tyler School of Art students have limited access to the art studios. Many students say this has yielded their creativity and caused them to make many changes to their artistic process.

Tyler School of Art Appoints Dean

According to Temple University President Richard M. Englert, Susan E. Cahan has been appointed dean of Tyler School of Art, which will become effective on July 1. Cahan currently serves as associate dean for the arts at Yale College, Yale University’s undergraduate liberal arts college. She will follow Hester Stinnett, who has been Tyler’s interim dean since September of 2015.

New Tyler School of Art Piece Sparks Controversy

A piece of art made its public debut last Thursday in the courtyard of the Tyler School of Art.
