Dunphy Earns 500th Win, Owls Advance to Tourney Semis Against SMU

HARTFORD- Temple picked up a huge win today in the AAC Tournament Quarterfinal; an 80-75 win against Memphis, and Coach Fran Dunphy picked up win number 500. Temple also suffered a huge loss today when Junior big man Jaylen Bond left the game late in the first half with an apparent right ankle injury. When Temple took the court for warm-ups in the second half, Bond was nowhere to be found.

Owls Fly High on Sr. Day, Beat UConn 75-63

PHILADELPHIA- Seniors Will Cummings, Jesse Morgan, Nick Pendergast and Jimmy McDonnell heard the Liacouras Center buzzer sound for the final time in their careers today. The Owls got the win for their Seniors and picked up a 75-63 win over the reigning National Champions, the UConn Huskies. This was the Owls second win over UConn this season, their first being an overtime win back in December.
