# Temple Gymnasts Flip for Tips

The gymnasts showed off their talents holding signs that read "Flips for Tips" on Monday. "We're just doing some flips and having a good time out here," said club President Tobias Warren. Club members would do a flip or gymnastics move for a donation to their club. The club is entirely self-funded, so all donations are pivotal for their organization. The club attends yearly competitions and events, and these donations help fund their trips.  Temple's Men Gymnastics team was cut following [an announcement in December 2013](https://templeupdate.com/sports-cuts-over-the-2013-14-year/) so the co-ed gymnastics club is the only Temple-related gymnastics opportunity for current male Temple students.
