# Temple University Issues Travel Guidance

Temple University has issued international travel guidance [acknowledging the events that are occurring in the Middle East region.](https://finance.temple.edu/travel-planning/international-travel-planning/international-travel-guidance) The university strongly advises all members of its community to avoid any travel through the Middle East region until further notice.

**Any university-sponsored travel to the impacted countries must be reviewed by the university’s Division of Global Health, Safety, and Security (GHSS) and the Office of Risk Management.**

If you are planning to travel to any of the following countries through June 30, 2026, you must submit a Pre-Travel Application, reach out to the Division of Global Health, Safety and Security (GHSS), and the Office of Risk Management.

- Bahrain
- Egypt
- Iran
- Iraq
- Israel (including Gaza and West Bank)
- Jordan
- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- Syria
- United Arab Emirates
- Yemen
