After a fantastic start to the season, it seems as though the hot start has cooled down a bit for Temple’s Men’s Soccer Team. In their latest game on Saturday, Temple lost 1-0 to the University of Southern Florida in a very close game.
Both teams were able to pull off four shots on the goal, but USF got the one shot in that mattered. As of now, Temple is 0-2 within Conference matchups, while the rest of their games in the season come within the conference. Temple has been able to put themselves in very good condition due to their historic start of the season, and even with a few setback losses, they are still primed to be in a good spot for the playoffs.
The defense has still been proving its ability and goalkeeper Alex Cagle, has still been able to cease the opposition from scoring on multiple occasions, so there are still some positives to look forward to throughout the rest of the season. Temple will have the chance to get back on track with another conference game on Wednesday against the University of Central Florida.
