A New Halloween Nights Experience

The historic penitentiary has hosted haunted attractions since the early 1990’s. This season, Eastern State Penitentiary’s Halloween Nights aims to immerse guests in an entirely new experience.
Senior Live Entertainment Manager, EZ Kushin, had the following to say about what inspired the changes:

“We have all these little worlds, and I was trying to find ways to unite everything and kind of took that desire to figure out what each of these little pocket universes how could they be connected, and how could we make guests feel like everything–the entire space was one kind of universe that we kind of see it as.”

With five unique haunted houses within the attraction complete with new lore, theatrics, and a cast of characters. Visitors can experience horror in the ten-acre abandoned prison like never before.

Along with new haunts, visitors can enjoy food, refreshments, and live entertainment from areas like the Pumpkin Plaza, Fair Chance Beer Garden, and Bloodline Lounge.
From terrific fun under the big top to surreal delirium, Halloween Nights has something new for everyone.

EZ went on to tell us about how Halloween Night’s new story becomes revealed to guests.

“As you progress through the story, scanning QR codes and interacting with the different key characters will progress you into the story.  Then there are decisions that guests have to make that move them on different paths.”

The attraction runs through November 9th, and lovers of all things Halloween should be sure to attend.
