Police have arrested one suspect and are in search of the second involved in an armed robbery of a Temple student. The robbery took place on the 1800 block of Berks Street at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The 22-year-old student says he was robbed at gunpoint while leaving his home. The two alleged robbers threatened the victim with a silver semiautomatic pistol and managed to steal his iPhone 6. No injuries were reported.
Police found the first suspect later on Saturday after recovering the victim’s cellphone from a 20-year old man who fit the suspect description. His identity and charges against him have not been released.
The second suspect is currently being sought after. He is described as a 5-foot-10 inch to 5-foot-11 inch black man between19 and 22 years old, and was last seen wearing a red hoodie.
