Temple Update has the first look at the investigation of an alleged attack that took place earlier this semester on main campus.
Campus security has released a surveillance video of the alleged suspects who were involved in a December 6th assault of three Temple University students.
The footage shows the suspects stepping into an elevator to leave The View apartment complex on 12th and Montgomery at around 1:20 a.m.
Footage from just moments later was released following the suspects down Montgomery Street toward Broad Street. Detectives say that the assault broke out across from the Insomnia Cookies truck.
Detective Gavin Collier talked to Update about the details of the altercation. He said that the attack was unprovoked as the students walking from the Kardon Atlantic apartment building.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering from injuries that included a cut on the lip and several lacerations.
This poses a threat to Temple students since the person of interests has yet to be identified. Anyone who recognizes the suspects in the footage is encouraged to contact Campus Safety Services.
