The intersection of Sixth and Vine Streets in Old City Philadelphia is where most Philadelphia patrons can find the brightest Christmas lights of the Holiday Season.
Throughout the month of December, Franklin Square hosts their Second Annual Holiday Electrical Spectacle.
Lights are set up all around the facility, and every half hour between 4:30pm to 8:00pm, visitors can watch a light show at the center of ‘The Square’ featuring Christmas Music hits such as ‘Sleigh Ride’ among others.
“You’ll definitely want to come by here and check it out. We’re offering a very special holiday experience for visitors, all types of visitors really. It’s a great thing for families to come with their kids, and it would make a great date night,” says Lisa Deats, Vice President of Operations at Historical Philadelphia.
Along with the Light Show, Franklin Square will have a beer garden open to patrons 21 years old or older and for the kids, Santa Claus will visit Franklin Square on all three Saturdays in December before Christmas.
