The wizarding world of Harry Potter has made its way to Philadelphia.
If you ever wanted to know you belong in either Gryffindor or Slytherin, The Franklin Institute’s new Harry Potter Exhibition can give you your answer plus many more.
Visitors are able to see authentic props from the wizarding world, such as wands and costumes, and displays that honor iconic settings and moments, like Harry Potter’s room under the stairs.
The exhibition features 21 distinct areas, including Hogwarts Houses gallery with all 4 houses, A Quidditch room, Hagrid’s Hut, and The Great Hall.
Larry Dubinski, President and CEO of The Franklin Institute says, “There’s so much to see that I think when you turn every corner, you’re surprised to see even more. So no matter what your favorite part is whether the books, the movies, the play, there’s something here for every Harry Potter Fan.”
Throughout the exhibit, there’s interactive touchscreens and activities guests are encouraged to use to get the full Hogwarts experience.
“If you stand at the end of this exhibition what you see is people with big smiles on their faces saying that was a great experience, that was a great way to spend some time,” Dubinski says.
The end of the tour leads you to the giftshop, and this is where you can end your experience with some classic Butterbeer.
The exhibition will stay open until September 18th, 2022, guests can purchase tickets and learn more on the Franklin Institute’s website.
