Former Vice President Joe Biden has officially thrown his hat into the 2020 race for Democratic presidential nominee.
In an announcement video to supporters, Biden spoke about the growing danger of racial violence and white supremacy in America.
Biden also discussed President Trump’s failure to address the growing problem of radical white-supremacist terrorism, as well as his role in stoking the fires of identitarian agendas.
Biden previously served as a senator from Deleware for over 30 years before joining former president Obama for two successful presidential runs.
Biden is polling close to current front runner Bernie Sanders, who currently is leading in the Democratic field.
Biden’s past role and image as Obama’s right-hand may give him an edge in the primaries, but most analysts agree that it’s anybody’s game as of today.
