After an impressive season, where they ended up with a 10-6-2 record, Temple’s Men’s Soccer team’s season ended last night at the hands of a 4-0 loss to UConn. Temple had been struggling against the conference all season with a 2-6 record in AAC play. However, it was not a lost season as Temple started off by making history with the best start in school history, with a 7-0-1 record, and never losing against an opponent outside of the conference. Individually, Jorge Gomez-Sanchez established himself as one of the premier players in all of college soccer, while at one point being second in the nation in goals scored.
