National Constitution Center Black History Month Exhibit

In light of Black History Month, the National Constitution Center is paying homage to the black Americans who helped shape the country and constitution.

Located steps away from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, people are coming to the museum to enjoy the various events they are hosting this month.

Jenna Kehres, Associate Vice President of Museum Experience explained all the details of the museum and what they had to offer for visitors.

One of the programs they run is called “The Four Harriets,” where they talk about the many Harriets throughout American history.

“-explores the contributions of black women named Harriet throughout history because there have been many of them who made significant contributions.” Jenna Kehres explained.

They have various other activities including a crafting table where visitors can make trading cards that they can color in and learn about the figures on them.

Additionally, they have a trivia program where they can learn about different people in history through the question on the wheel.

The museum hosts other lectures about different artifacts throughout American history twice a day.
