Temple fell to UMass thursday night by a final score of 70-67. Obi Enechionyia led the way once again for the Owls with 26 points, five threes, to go along with six rebounds, and one block.
The game went down to the wire, with Daniel Dingle missing a go ahead three with 11 seconds remaining. In all, there were 17 lead changes, and nine ties throughout the game.
UMass freshman guard Dejon Jarreau led the way for the minutemen, scoring 16 points, including the go ahead three with under a minute remaining.
Enechionyia was the only Owls player to score in double digits on the night, with Shizz Alston being the second leading scorer on the night, with nine points.
The Owls shot under 40 percent from the field for the second consecutive game, at just 38 percent. The team also attempted 26 threes, they have attempted over 20 three pointers in each game this season. //The Owls next take on Manhattan, at home on saturday afternoon.
