Philadelphia will be hosting the 12th annual Pennsylvania Conference for Women on November 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The event, one of the largest women’s conferences in the country, boasts a panel of star-studded guest speakers and seminars about female leadership, career advancement, entrepreneurship, finance, personal development, health, and social media.
The keynote speakers for 2015 include founder and creative chief of Honest Company Jessica Alba, chef, author and entrepreneur Rachael Ray, women’s rights activist Gloria Steinem, US Women’s Soccer champion and two time Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Leymah Gbowee, slam poet and ambassador for the film “Girl Rising” Marquesha Babers, and co-founder of Life is Good Company John Jacobs.
Last year, keynote speakers included New York Times’ Jill Abramson, creator of the “Before I Die” project Candy Chang, actress and author Diane Keaton, entrepreneur Tory Johnson, broadcaster Jane Pauley and Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts.
The conference will start at 7:30 am with a keynote session and will close at 5 pm. Events include book signings, time for meet-and-greets with the speakers and local leaders, a luncheon, two seminars of attendee’s choosing and round table discussions. The exhibit hall and the health and wellness, community connection and career pavilions will be open all day. Resume review and career coaching will also be available throughout the event to all who register.
