Philadelphia Phillies Keep Red October Alive

Red October stays alive.

Phillies fans packed Maxis last night to watch the team pull off another playoff win, keeping postseason hopes high.

The bar was filled with Temple students cheering through every inning as the Phillies came out on top. Energy spilled out onto the street as fans celebrated another step toward the World Series.

“They brought it back,” said Julian Wagenmann. “Now we just have to see how tomorrow goes.”

Many students said the win showed what makes Philadelphia sports fans different. Loyal, loud, and proud no matter the score.

“I think we’ll bring it back to the Bank on Saturday and hopefully we win. After that, we’re going to the World Series. Go Phils, baby,” said Kevin Abraham.

Phillies fans say they’re already looking ahead to the next game and another night to celebrate.
