Fall break is almost here, and students and faculty alike are getting ready. Temple Update’s Kate Reilly interviewed a few of the students to find out their plans for the break.
Although Thanksgiving is in the midst of break, turkey is the last thing on their minds.
The most popular response we got from student’s about their fall break plans is studying for finals. Student’s plan to use the week off to catch up on homework and study.
Emily Smith, the assistant director of resident life, helps those students living in residence halls prepare to leave or break. She told us the do’s and don’t’s of what to bring and what to leave behind during the week off, “As long as they are coming back to their actual room, they are able to leave whatever they want in their space.”
Fall Break is from November 21-29.
The residence halls will be closed from 7 p.m. November 21st and will reopen at 10 a.m. on the 28th. For those students living in residence halls that wanted to attend the Temple Memphis game, you still can!
Housing extension forms can still be filled out, but now require a $50 dollar late fee.
