The Phillies and Aramark Sports Plus Entertainment released what’s new in food, fan gear, and game-day experience for the 2025 season at an exclusive event held in the CP Rankin Club at Citizens Bank Park.
Phillies season ticket holders, spokespeople, Phillies new partners, and others got the chance to come to Citizens Bank Park to see what’s brand-new for the upcoming season.
“This is our annual event to showcase all the new food, promotions, and enhancements to the ballpark the fans can expect when they attend a Phillies game this year. Everybody’s really excited; expectations for this year are extremely high, but this is a nice prelude and a way to get our fans excited and just give them a little taste of what’s to come,” said Michael Harris, Phillies Vice President, Marketing & Government Affairs.
USA Today ranked Citizens Bank Park as the number one stadium in all of Major League Baseball and the number two stadium for the best food in the league. They are living up to that with new food items for the 2025 season, like the crispy chicken sandwich, black bean burger, P.J. Whelihan’s onion rings, a smores quesadilla, and a cotton candy mask.
“This was always a great food place, it always was. But they always try to get a little bit better. There’s so many different places to eat, so many different choices, I mean it’s an award-winning ballpark, great place. I think that they do everything they possibly can to enhance the all-around fan experience,” said Phillies Broadcaster Rubén Amaro Jr.
Exclusive new Phillies and Phanatic collectibles will be available for fans to purchase only at Citizens Bank Park. There will also be plenty of promotions and fan giveaways this season when fans purchase a ticket.
“We’re doing about 40 giveaways and promotions this year which is basically half of our home games so there’s a lot of things ready for everybody. Something for kids, adults, 21 and over, 15 and over, men and women,” said Scott Brandreth, Director of Promotions.
Bruce “The Bat King” Tatem designs the well-known custom bats for Phillies players. Fans will now have a chance to buy one at Citizens Bank Park. Tatum shared where he gets his inspiration.
“Some bats are player-driven, Harper, he’s kind of a no brainer, you can do something Phanatic wise, he loves it, embraces the city. Other players, it can be something I see in an interview or from Instagram. The pencil bat, my son gave me that idea years ago,” Tatem said.
