Toasting Temple

As the spring semester slowly comes to a close with summer just around the corner, Temple University hosted the “Temple Toast Carnival” located around the Lenfest Circle at the Bell Tower for all to enjoy.

The school had many carnival activities. Some of the activities include football and the famous “high striker”. The university even also had its very own “Dunk Tank”.

Surrounded by music and good welcome energy in the spring air, students are very pleased with the steps the school have taken to liven up Temple University’s Main Campus. More specifically, during the spring semester when the weather is warm.

Other vendors present at the “Temple Toast Carnival” include student organizations like the food pantry and the Temple University Alumni Association.

The university also had a wide selection of different food trucks on campus during the event. Students could receive a free food voucher during specific times and trade them at participating food trucks to receive a well-cooked meal or snack.

With the increased student engagement as well as the positive response, Temple University plans to continue hosting outdoor events just like the Temple Toast Carnival in the near future.

Check out the Temple University website or the calendar of events for more information on upcoming events.
