The death of 21-year-old Temple student Agatha Hall has been ruled a homicide. Police say the murder was committed by her boyfriend, 29-year-old Brandon Meade.
Hall’s death on August 31st was initially thought to be a suicide, as Temple Update’s Phil Dupont reported here. The Philadelphia city Medical Examiner ruled out suicide on Sept. 10th. The location of the gunshot wound made it ‘impossible’ for it to have been self-inflicted, the case was then transferred to the Homicide Unit for further investigation.
In a press release received from the Philadelphia Police Department, it was confirmed that Meade was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 15th, where he was charged with the murder of Agatha Hall.
Hall was a senior at the Fox School of Business studying finance and international business.
Brandon Mead’s trial date has been set for September 19th, 2016 with Judge Rose DeFino-Nastasi.
