Careers in Color Networking Workshop

What better way to gain networking skills than to learn amongst peers? For students who wanted to learn how to effectively network and build relationships, they were able to attend the Careers in Color event.

On Monday at Mitten Hall, students of all majors were able to understand how to market their professional brand at the #RelationshipGoals workshop.

“Providing a platform [for students of color] is really really important and I’m glad that the Career Center supports it,” says event organizer, Sonya Blount.

The main goal of the workshop was to prepare students for the annual Careers in Color fair with dozens of employers. It was originally supposed to be on Wednesday but due to inclement weather, the fair has been postponed to a later date.

The rescheduled date has not yet been released but Temple Update will stay up to date with any new information announced.
