For those who didn’t have the chance to attend the Center City Restaurant Week, or if the fifteen days just weren’t enough, you’re in luck. East Passyunk Avenue, located in South
Philadelphia, will be hosting its fourth annual Restaurant Week, between Sunday February 21st and Saturday the 27th.
From low-key pubs to classy candle lit dinners, East Passyunk Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity to experience delightful dining outside of Center City. There will be 24 restaurants participating in the event that offer an array of dining experiences and cuisines guaranteed to please any palate. Each restaurant will present a three-course prix fixe dinner and/or lunch menu – for either $15, $25, or $35 a person.
Just to name a few: you can casually hang out with friends at Cantina Los Caballitos or POPE, stop by and grab a bite at P’unk Burger, or reserve a table for a sit-down dinner at Noir or Palladino’s. Remember to book your reservations in advance because these restaurants fill up fast.
If traveling is your concern, don’t worry. East Passyunk Avenue is easily accessible via SEPTA’s Broad Street subway line. The Tasker-Morris stop leaves you within walking distance to any of the participating restaurants. For drivers, meter parking is available, as well as offstreet parking. Some restaurants also offer valet parking.
Both customers and restaurant owners are anticipating the event. Not only does this bring a lot of attention to the area, but it’s the perfect chance for people to eat good, and save money. In fact, Marco Decotiis, owner and head chef of Noir, told us, “It’s so much fun and so hyped up, they actually want to introduce a second restaurant week.” Speaking for Marco and the rest of the community, that would be a wonderful idea.
