Temple Update’s Tennyson Coleman interviews Mayoral Candidate Melissa Murray Bailey (R) after the November 3 election. At the United Republicans Club in Old City, Bailey gave a concession speech thanking her campaign members, parents, and the city of Philadelphia.
Bailey remained positive despite the runaway vote to her competitor Jim Kenney (D). She stated, “My mom used to tell me always behave like a duck, calm and unruffled on top, paddling like a devil underneath.”
