Victory and Defeat of #NextMayorPHL

 

Philadelphia city councilman and now Mayor-elect Jim Kenney gives his victory speech just before nine o’clock Tuesday night a the Democratic headquarters in Old City at the National Museum of American Jewish History.  He made sure to thank everyone who helped in his campaign, and reinforce key points in his plan for the city when he officially puts on the mayoral hat in January 2016.

 

On the other end of the spectrum, Melissa Murray Bailey gave her constituents  a concession speech at the United Republicans Club in Old City.  She thanked her campaign members, parents, and the city of Philadelphia.
