Fans No Longer Allowed at Temple, Eagles Games Under New City Restrictions

On Monday (16th) the City of Philadelphia annuounced new indoor and outdoor restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. This includes a ban on fans from Lincoln Financial Field.

Due to this, the Linc will revert to just using cardboard cutouts and piped in crowd noise. The Owls had fans back for the first time two weeks ago vs SMU.

The Owls (1-5,1-5) play the East Carolina Pirates (1-5,1-6) on the 21st and it will be without the presence of Owls fans.

Temple Athletics nor Temple Football have made a comment on the matter.

*Fans with tickets for Temple’s 11/21 matchup vs ECU & 11/28 matchup with Cincinnati can take advantage of one these options:
  • Receive a full refund of money spent on tickets.
  • Receive credit towards 2021 tickets.
  • Donate money from paid tickets to the Temple Owl Club. A portion of the donation may be tax deductible.
