TU Alerts sent out this morning by the university indicated that the Lewis Katz School of Medicine was evacuated following what university officials described as a potential threat.
In a TU alert issued today, the University stated that classes would be suspended until further notice while the risk was investigated.
TU Alert (1/2): The individual responsible for the threat directed at the LK School of Medicine is in custody. There is no longer a threat against the school. The School of Medicine will remain closed and classes canceled for the day, October 25, 2019.

University officials have stated that the suspect is now in custody and that the threat has been resolved.
According to reports from faculty and students, HSC campus buildings have been reopened.
