It may have been cold on Valentines day, but that did not stop couples from having a heart-warming time on the ice last Saturday.
The first annual Sweetheart Skate was held this past Saturday for Valentines day. Couples from all over the city were drawn to spend the evening gliding, sliding, slipping and falling across Rothman’s ice rink at Dilworth park.
Couples eager to get on the ice were given the option to rent skates. Once laced up the young lovebirds were free to skate to their heart’s content.
